Supporting Consultants Working with Early Care and Education Settings Serving Infants and Toddlers
RIAEYC is happy to post this new resource developed by professionals representing the National Infant & Toddler Child Care Iniative at Zero to Three, with funding from the Child Care Bureau. It is designed for use by infant and toddler consultants and those who supervise infant & toddler care providers, and is divided into the following sections:
These materials can be read and used as an informational resource.

Module 1 - Relationships: The Heart of Development and Learning

Module 2 - Infant-Toddler Development, Screening, and Assessment

Module 3 - Curriculum and Individualization
In addition, RIAEYC, in collaboration with EDC (Education Development Center), is hosting a 3-part reflective reading discussion group this summer. The group will be comprised of child care directors and/or supervisors from programs enrolled in BrightStars and Early Head Start. This group will read and discuss the resource and how it relates to their practice as supervisors of infant and toddler care providers.
